Dr. Paula Garay and Dr. Patricia Sliwinski earn recognition for their contributions to healthcare

2 OPTIMUS professionals raise our organization’s profile in the community

When OPTIMUS people succeed, their success echoes across our whole
organization.

Dr. Paula Garay, Director of the emme Coalition, our highly successful
Women’s Health Initiative, was the keynote speaker for Building One
Community’s Annual Spring Benefit Breakfast. Her inspiring words addressed
the organization’s membership on the topic of the role and impact of
“organization’s that people can count on…that demonstrate there is good in
the world.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Patricia Sliwinski, Interim Clinical Leader for East Main
Pediatrics, received the Quinnipiac School of Medicine’s award for Excellence
in Clinical Teaching. In the words of one student nominator, “I am considering
pediatrics because of how she approaches pediatric medicine.”
