OPTIMUS Healthcare’s internist earns recognition for health advocacy

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (New Haven chapter) has awarded OPTIMUS Health Care’s Katherine Golar, M.D. a prize for her “leadership as an outstanding advocate for health equity over the past 3 years during and after the Covid 19 pandemic.”

Dr. Golar was one of several impressive award recipients at the Coalition’s Black Excellence Brunch held earlier this summer. The 2023 awards ceremony carried the theme of “Resilience, Post Pandemic” and recognized organizations and individuals that have championed Public Policy, Health, Education and Economic Empowerment initiatives.

We join the Coalition in honoring Dr. Golar – and we’re proud to call her our Chief Medical, Health and Wellness Officer!
